Left Ear return with 2 psyched out jazz/rock tunes from the enigmatic Leong Lau’s lost 7” release from ‘77. Arguably one of the most mysterious artists to come out of Australia during the 70’s. Leong migrated to from Malaysia to Australia to pursue an education but influenced by local musicians the idea of an alternate lifestyle took him on a different path. Leong organised festivals in Nimbin and played the late-night circuit of Sydney before a chance encounter with Frank Zappa inspired Leong to release his own small body of work that remained legendary amongst collectors for decades. After vanishing for 40 years Leong was tracked down in Brisbane in 2014. Since then his story and music has found new audience and The Late Night Flyer/One Dimensional Man 7" is another unique slice of this story.
